What is Soca

Soca is a stablecoin payments platform: businesses accept payments and run their money operations, and customers pay from a simple money account, settling USDC on Solana, wallet to wallet.

Soca is a payments platform built on digital dollars. Businesses use it to accept payments, run subscriptions, and manage their money. Customers use it as a simple money app, and pay 1% less whenever they pay with their Soca account.

Under the surface, every payment is USDC, a fully-backed digital dollar, moving directly from the customer's wallet to the business's wallet on the Solana network. There is no card network in the middle, no processor holding your money, and no payout schedule. Funds settle wallet-to-wallet inside the payment transaction itself: there is no pooled balance, no payout schedule, and no withdrawal step.

What are the two sides of Soca?

Soca is one network with two front doors:

  • For businesses: a complete operating system for money, including hosted checkout, subscriptions, invoices, in-person QR payments, refunds, wallets and treasury, usage-based billing, Telegram and Discord access automation, and a full API with webhooks.
  • For everyone else: a personal money account as simple as any payments app: pay businesses, send money to friends, and add or withdraw funds. Paying with your Soca account applies a 1% discount, so a $100 purchase costs $99.

Both sides run on the same rail, so a business and its customers are on one network, with no gateway between them.

What makes Soca different?

  • Direct settlement. Money lands in the business's own wallet inside the payment transaction itself, not in a pooled balance waiting for a payout.
  • No chargebacks. Payments are push-based wallet transfers, so card-style chargebacks (and their fees) do not exist.
  • No network fees for customers. Customers never pay network fees; Soca sponsors gas on every transaction.
  • Self-custody. Soca is non-custodial: money settles to wallets you hold the keys for, and any wallet key can be exported at any time.
  • A discount, not a rewards program. The customer's 1% is taken off the price at checkout: real savings on the receipt, not points to redeem later. It is a Soca account benefit, so it applies when they pay with their account.

All settlement happens on Solana. (Other networks may appear as identity only, never as a settlement path.) If you see "Solana" in these docs, that is the network every payment settles on.

Where should I start?

Who is Soca for?

Soca fits any business that wants to keep more of each sale and get paid instantly: online stores and SaaS products, creators and communities selling paid access, and in-person sellers who want a phone to work as a payment terminal. Many businesses run Soca alongside their card processor: cards for customers who prefer them, Soca for customers who want the discount.

For individuals, Soca is for anyone who wants a straightforward money account that saves them 1% wherever Soca is accepted, with no crypto knowledge required. You can sign in with email or Google, and a secure wallet is created for you automatically.
