For your money
Adding and withdrawing money
Move money into Soca with a debit card, Apple Pay, or your bank, and back out again, with every fee shown before you confirm.
Adding money to Soca feels like topping up any other money app: pick an amount, pick a payment method, confirm. Underneath, the transfer is handled by Coinbase, a regulated payment partner. You will see their name at the secure payment step, and that is exactly who is moving your dollars.
Adding money
- 1
Choose an amount
Tap Add money from Home and enter how much you want to add.
- 2
Pick a payment method
Debit card, Apple Pay, or your bank account. Each option shows what you will receive and roughly when it will arrive, so you can compare before choosing.
- 3
Review
One screen with everything itemized: what you pay, any partner fees, and the exact amount added to Soca. Nothing is hidden in the fine print.
- 4
Confirm securely
You finish the payment in a secure Coinbase window. The first time, you may be asked to verify your identity, a standard one-time requirement from the regulated partner.
Debit card and Apple Pay top-ups usually arrive within minutes. Bank transfers are typically the cheapest option but can take a few business days. The exact fee and arrival estimate are always shown on the review screen before you confirm. If you never confirmed, you never paid.
Already keep money in another crypto wallet? Choose From another wallet instead. Soca shows your address and a QR code, and USDC you send there usually lands within a minute. Only send USDC on Solana. Sending anything else, or using another network, can lose your money.
What your balance actually is
Money you add arrives as USDC: a digital dollar. Each USDC is a fully-reserved dollar designed to stay worth $1, so your balance is simply dollars: $50 in is $50 in your account, and it does not wobble around like other crypto. The difference from a normal app balance is *where* it lives: in your own wallet, which you hold the keys to, not in a company account.
Withdrawing to your bank
- 1
Choose an amount
Tap Withdraw and enter how much to take out. Soca shows exactly what is available.
- 2
Connect Coinbase (first time only)
Withdrawals to a bank or card are paid out through Coinbase, so a one-time account link is needed. After that, it is remembered.
- 3
Pick a destination
Your bank account (usually the lowest fee) or your debit card (usually the fastest).
- 4
Review and approve
You approve moving exactly that amount once, never as an open-ended permission. Card payouts usually arrive within minutes; bank payouts can take a few business days.
You can also send USDC out to any Solana wallet: an exchange, a hardware wallet, or another account you hold. Look for Send to a crypto wallet on the withdraw screen.
Fees and timing
Adding money and cashing out are free: $0 to move dollars on and off through our partner Coinbase, with no Soca fee on top. Limits and arrival times are set by Coinbase and shown to you, itemized, before you confirm, and refreshed if you take too long. If something goes wrong mid-transfer, Soca always tells you exactly where your money is, including when it has been returned to your balance.
Your balance is yours
Your money is held in your wallet, not by Soca. Soca is non-custodial: money settles to wallets you hold the keys for, and any wallet key can be exported at any time. Adding and withdrawing just moves your own dollars between your bank and your wallet.
